David is the founder of artifact studios and an Emmy® nominee whose documentaries have aired on PBS, HBO, A&E, and Discovery and been supported by the Sundance Institute. He has interviewed Nobel Prize winners and self-proclaimed vampires, spent weeks in prison, and swum with a chimp. David oversees Artifact’s documentary and live-action production, and contributes to content campaigns across the company.

Anne had worked as an assistant, creative executive, and screenwriter for filmmakers including Fred Roos, Warren Beatty, and Sophia Coppola, and had co-founded award-winning motion graphics company Transistor Studios when she decided to team up with David at artifact. Anne writes and oversees studio writers, provides direction on sets and in edit bays, and scouts talent with backgrounds in entertainment, digital media, art, and advertising. She’s always on the lookout for interesting and inspiring clients to work with.

Before joining artifact, Matt worked for over a decade at the Walt Disney Company in their Consumer Products and Interactive divisions. He was on the front lines with filmmakers, licensees, game developers, and retailers to launch brands and bring quality products to market, working with IP such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Cars, and Disney Infinity. At artifact Matt strategizes with clients to identify and reach target audiences across a range of demographics, and ensures content supports brand positioning and client needs.
An accomplished practitioner of video, music, online, and OOH arts, Brian helped launch the Venetian Hotel, and transformed the video game Just Dance into a phenomenon. He also pioneered crowdsourced writing as the founder of oneword.com. As Creative Director, Brian maintains artifact’s standard of excellence and inspires its staff in all aspects of production and post-production. He can explain the proper usage of em and en dashes, advise editors and animators on keyboard shortcuts, and play more musical instruments than the studio can keep track of. As artifact’s in-house composer, he offers clients evocative, memorable scores for their video content.
